At least seven people have died after registering new Russian attacks with rocket launchers and artillery in the towns of Orijov and Stepnohirsk, in the Zaporizhia region, as confirmed by Kirilo Timoshenko, the ‘number two’ of the office of the Ukrainian president, Volodimir Zelenski.

For his part, the head of the Zaporizhia region, Oleksandr Staruj, has confirmed the attack, assuring that two of the employees of the district’s electrical networks, who were working to restore service, have died as a result of the attack.

“While carrying out restoration work on a power line damaged during repeated enemy fire, two district power grid workers, Dimitro Starichenko and Roman Melnik, were killed,” he said, according to the Ukrinform news agency.

On the other hand, the town of Nikopol, in the Dnipropetrovsk region, has been bombarded this Tuesday with multiple rocket launchers, as the head of the town, Yevhen Yevtushenko, stressed on Telegram.
