6 Apr. (EUROPE PRESS) –
At least seven people have died after a shelling by Ukrainian forces on a car depot in a district of the city of Donetsk, in the Donbas region, according to figures from the emergency services.
Ukrainian forces attacked a warehouse using US HIMARS multiple launch rocket systems early morning, injuring at least seven others, who have been taken to nearby hospitals, the TASS news agency reported.
The leader of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Denis Pushilin, has previously noted on his Telegram profile that the families of the victims, both the injured and the dead, “will be provided with all necessary assistance.”
The Russian authorities have announced in recent weeks constant advances in the vicinity of Bakhmut, a town of outstanding importance for the interests of Ukraine, since the main transport routes for the supply of troops in Donbas depart from there.
