May 18. (EUROPE PRESS) –

At least one person has died and two have been injured in the city of Odesa after the night attacks that Russia has carried out against the entire Ukrainian territory.

As confirmed by the Southern Command of the Ukrainian Army, Russia launched “several missiles from different directions” against Odessa on Wednesday night, most of them stopped by Ukrainian air defenses.

However, they have detailed, some of the missiles hit “industrial infrastructure” in the city, leaving this balance of victims.

The air warning sirens have sounded tonight also in kyiv, where the regional authorities have reported that all the missiles have been shot down. Specifically, the Russian Army would have used strategic bombers of the Tu-95MS and Tu-160 type, with X-101/555 missiles, and after the attack they would have deployed reconnaissance drones around the capital.

Several buildings have been slightly damaged, the most serious incident reported so far being a garage fire, which has already been extinguished. So far no victims of any kind have been reported in the capital.
