The Ukrainian authorities have reported that at least one person has died this Friday due to a bombardment by Russian forces in the province of Sumy, in the northeast of the country.
The deputy head of the office of the president of Ukraine, Kirilo Tymoshenko, has warned that “the occupation forces continue to terrorize the border regions” and has clarified that during the last day there have been 19 air strikes in Sumy.
“The enemy has made use of missiles launched from a helicopter, which have hit residences and administrative buildings,” he has indicated on his Telegram account, where he has confirmed that for now there is one dead and several wounded.
On the other hand, he has denounced that the Russian Army has carried out attacks against three towns in the Chernigov region, where losses have been recorded “between personnel and equipment”, although he has not offered more details in this regard.
