The Ukrainian authorities have reported this Tuesday that at least one person has died in a new attack perpetrated by Russian forces against the town of Sofiyivka, in the Kherson region, in the east of the country.
The governor of the area, Oleksander Prokudin, has indicated that the fatality has been identified as a woman, as he has indicated in his Telegram account. Thus, he has explained that he has registered a fire in a residential building, where there are also injuries.
Likewise, the Ukrainian Army has stated that there have been almost twenty clashes in towns such as Kupianks, Limansk, Bakhmut and Marianks, among others, as reported by the Armed Forces through Facebook.
In this sense, they have stressed that it is in these directions where the Russian troops are concentrating all their efforts in the framework of the invasion of the territory, which began almost a year and a half ago.
