September 21 (EUROPA PRESS) –

At least one Palestinian was killed and an as yet undetermined number injured early Saturday morning in fresh Israeli airstrikes on the city of Khan Yunis, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.

The first of the airstrikes by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has hit a family home in the southern city of the Gaza Strip, killing “a young man” and leaving several others injured, according to local sources consulted by the aforementioned agency.

Three other civilians were also injured in a similar attack that targeted a tent shelter for displaced people in the center of the same city, while the IDF shelled the vicinity of the Nasser Medical Complex in the west.

Israel also launched a military offensive against the Gaza Strip following the attacks, which left some 1,200 dead and nearly 250 kidnapped, according to official figures. The Gazan authorities, controlled by Hamas, have so far reported more than 41,250 dead and nearly 95,500 wounded.
