At least one person was killed and four wounded overnight Sunday after Russian troops attacked the western Ukrainian city of Khmelnitsky with unmanned aerial vehicles.

“At the moment, one death and four injured are known. Several buildings have been damaged. The work against the fires continues,” said the mayor of the city, Oleksander Simchishin, through his Telegram profile.

During the airstrike, at least three explosions were heard in Khmelnitsky, as reported by Ukrinform.

The Ukrainian authorities have reported that during the night, the Russian military has used 14 supposedly Iranian-made kamikaze drones, of which eleven of them have been shot down by the Ukrainian defense system, as reported by the General Staff of the Armed forces.
