The Ukrainian authorities have reported this Tuesday that the latest attacks by the Russian Armed Forces against the Donetsk region, located in the east of the country, have left a provisional toll of one dead and five injured.

The Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office has detailed on its Telegram channel the death of an almost 60-year-old man, victim of a Russian bombing of a residential area in the town of Kostiantinivka. Two other people in their 70s and 90s have been injured.

The authorities do not rule out that a woman may be found with her barely twelve-year-old son under the rubble of one of the homes. A total of 27 private homes, three blocks of buildings and energy infrastructure have been damaged.

On the other hand, the authorities have confirmed another Russian attack on the city of Slaviansk, a few kilometers from Konstantinovka, where two other women and a man, all of them over 50 years old, have also been injured.

The Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office has launched a preliminary investigation into what happened.
