The Palestinian Ministry of Health has announced early this Tuesday morning that a 15-year-old teenager has been killed by shots from the Israeli Army in a raid in the city of Bethlehem, in the center of the West Bank.
The ministerial portfolio has identified the victim as Adam Essam Shaker Ayad and has reported that he died “from a bullet to the chest fired by occupation soldiers during the attack in Bethlehem at dawn.”
Security sources have explained that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have broken into the Dheisheh camp, south of Bethlehem, where they reportedly raided Palestinian homes. After this, there would have been clashes, during which the Israeli military would have fired “indiscriminately”, reports the Palestinian agency Wafa.
In addition, the IDF has detained another young man, identified as Anan Ahmed Sarabata, after his father’s home was broken into.
