Eyewitnesses have confirmed to the Sudan Tribune that “at least nine people were killed and dozens injured as a result of artillery shells fired by the RSF in the Awlad al Rif neighborhood”, although they have also reported attacks in southern neighborhoods. , the west and north of the town, “causing victims and massive destruction of a large number of homes.”
Fighting between the Sudanese Army and the RSF in El Fasher has escalated dramatically over the past three days. In them, both sides are using all types of weapons, causing dozens of civilians to flee.

SUDAN DENOUNCES THE DISTRIBUTION OF AID TO THE RSF

Minawi has denounced that the RSF, in its siege of El Fasher, looted and seized trucks transporting humanitarian aid in several areas – an action that he has described as “genocide” – without UN agencies and humanitarian organizations condemning these actions. actions “out of fear or shame.”
For his part, Benia has stated that the Sudanese Government has evidence that these organizations have distributed “tons” of aid to paramilitaries who entered through border crossings in the Darfur region.
