March 8 (EUROPA PRESS) –
At least four people have been killed and eight others injured in a drone strike in an area controlled by Iranian-backed groups in the Deir Ezzor region in the north-east of the country.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (OSDH) has indicated that the attack was carried out when a truck loaded with ammunition passed near an arms factory belonging to a pro-Iranian militia.
According to several witnesses, the attack caused a strong explosion in the area, where there is also a hospital.
The OSDH has reported that at least 16 people linked to pro-Iranian militias in Syria were killed last February, all of them in shelling and attacks on the ground.
