At least four people have died, including three policemen, and another dozen have been injured in a shooting attack against a checkpoint in the Egyptian town of Ismailia, where the Suez Canal is located, for which the organization has claimed responsibility. jihadist Islamic State.
The attack occurred on Friday afternoon, according to reports by the Egyptian state chain Al Qahera, which has confirmed the death of one of the assailants. Most of the injured are recruits from the security forces and the fourth deceased has yet to be identified.
