June 11 (EUROPA PRESS) –

At least five people died this Monday night after an attack by the Israeli Army against a logistics convoy of the Lebanese Shiite party-militia Hezbollah, which was in northern Lebanon after having crossed the border from Syria, an event about that the Islamist group has not spoken out so far.

“During the night, Air Force fighter jets have attacked a military complex of Unit 4400, the logistical reinforcement unit of the terrorist organization Hezbollah, which serves as a weapons transport factor to and from Lebanon. Two have been attacked centers located in the Baalbak region,” the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced on their X social network account.

For its part, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has reported the death of five people, three of them Syrian nationals, after a bombing carried out within Lebanese territory and near the border with Syria in Al Quseir.

In addition, dozens of people have been injured, while numerous trucks have caught fire. In response, the Syrian Army has launched air defense missiles.

On the other hand, the Israeli Army has bombed three Hezbollah military positions in southern Lebanon in response to the destruction of an Israeli drone that was flying over the area during Sunday night.

It should be noted that the IDF has reported the downing of “suspicious aerial objects” coming from the east, which failed to cross into Israeli territory and which have caused no casualties or damage. Although it has not been claimed by any group, these types of attacks are usually carried out by pro-Iran militias present in Syria or Iraq.
