HELP LOCK
The United Nations Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Middle East (UNRWA) has warned of the “blockade” of the entry of humanitarian aid to the area, which is facing a “catastrophic” humanitarian situation.
Thus, he has pointed out the Israeli authorities as the cause of these impediments: “the authorities do not allow Israel to use the multiple border crossings with the Gaza Strip, so the population can interpret that we are not doing enough.”
“We are being denied the crossing. We are being denied,” said Louise Wateridge, spokesperson for the agency, in a video broadcast on social networks. The children are shaking, but we no longer know if it is because of the cold or because of the fear of the bombings,” he stated before recalling that what “everyone takes for granted in other places is what is needed in Gaza.”
