At least eight injured after the explosion against a bus carrying Taliban officials

Nov. 2 (EUROPA PRESS) –

At least eight people have been injured this Wednesday after the explosion in a bus transporting officials from the Taliban Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development as it passed through Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan.

This was announced on Wednesday by the spokesman for the Kabul Police, Khalid Zadran. The explosion was caused by a package bomb placed on the side of a road in District 5 of the Afghan capital.

“I was nearby when a very loud explosion was heard, many people have been injured. The explosion occurred next to a bus,” a witness told the Afghan chain Tolo News.

At the moment, no one has claimed responsibility for this attack, although it is true that the Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP) has carried out dozens of attacks since the Taliban seized power in August 2021. This affiliate of the group The terrorist accuses the Taliban of betraying Islamic law, of which they defend a much harsher interpretation.
