At least 33 dead and 84 missing in an Israeli bombing in the Nuseirat refugee camp (Gaza)

At least 33 people have died and 84 have disappeared in a bombardment by the Israeli Army carried out tonight against the Nuseirat refugee camp, in the center of the Gaza Strip, according to the Gazan authorities, who have called it “brutal massacre” occurred again.

The Press Office of the Gazan Government, in the hands of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), has reported through its Telegram channel that the attack, which took place in the last hours of this Thursday, has left dozens of people injured. , most of them, women and children.

On the other hand, three people have died in another attack by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) against an area with tents housing displaced people in the Qizan al Najjar neighborhood, in the southern city of Khan Younis. In addition, “several” people have been injured, again most of them minors, as reported by the newspaper ‘Filastin’.

Likewise, during the day, another thirteen fatalities were recorded due to a bombing carried out by Israel against a security team that was escorting a shipment of humanitarian aid in the south of the Gaza Strip.

Israel launched its offensive against Gaza after attacks carried out on October 7, 2023 by Hamas and other Palestinian groups, which left nearly 1,200 dead and about 250 kidnapped, according to reports provided by the Israeli authorities.

Since then, the Gazan authorities, controlled by Hamas, have reported the deaths of more than 44,800 Palestinians in the Strip, to which are added around 800 Palestinians killed at the hands of Israeli forces and in attacks carried out by settlers since then in West Bank and East Jerusalem.
