The National Guard and the Tunisian Coast Guard have activated a device to try to locate at least 23 migrants who are missing.
The migrants left the coast of Korba, in the Tunisian governorate of Nabeul, ten days ago, as revealed this Saturday by the Tunisian National Guard and reported by the official news agency, TAP.
Relatives of the missing reported what happened to the coast guard in Béni Jiar on May 14. After receiving this information, a search device was launched and remains active.
In parallel, security forces have detained five people, including two women, for an alleged crime of irregular migration in Korba.
