Guinean President appoints third Minister of Justice in less than a year

July 10 (EUROPA PRESS) –

At least 18 people have died in two shootings that occurred last night and this morning in entertainment venues in South Africa, fourteen of them in a single incident, according to the National Police.

The fourteen dead have been identified in a shooting at the Nomzamo Park tavern in the Soweto area, just outside Johannesburg, where nine other people have been injured.

Another four people have died and another eight are in critical condition after another shooting in Pietermartzburg, in the state of KwaZulu-Natal, as confirmed by the police officer Nonhlanhla Kubeka to the News24 channel.

Both incidents are under investigation.

Shootings in the country’s bars have become a particularly worrying phenomenon for South African authorities after the death of 26 people in the Eastern Cape on June 26.
