May 18. (EUROPA PRESS) –

At least 15 people have died and 30 more have been injured this Saturday in the Jabalia refugee camp, in the north of the Gaza Strip, as a result of an Israeli bombing.

Israeli aircraft have bombed one of the shelters where displaced people are staying as well as citizens who were trying to return to their homes in the area, according to the official Palestinian news agency, WAFA.

Most of the injured have been transferred to the Kamal Adwan Hospital, in whose surroundings there have also been “violent bombings”, according to the Palestinian media.

He also highlights that the humanitarian situation in the Jabalia refugee camp is “catastrophic” as a result of daily Israeli bombings and families are desperately searching for food, water and medicine.

Neither ambulances nor Civil Defense personnel have access to Yabalia and therefore cannot collect the bodies of the deceased and injured.

On the other hand, two more Palestinians have been shot dead by Israeli forces in the Nuseirat refugee camp, in the center of the Palestinian enclave, and two more have died in Wadi Gaza, in the north of the territory. Three others have been killed and two more have been wounded in an Israeli attack on a home in Khan Younis and another has been killed in a bombing of a civilian vehicle near Rafah.

At least 35,386 people have died and 79,366 have been injured since the start of the Israeli military offensive on the Gaza Strip on October 7, according to data from the Ministry of Health of the Palestinian Government, controlled by the Islamic Resistance Movement ( Hamas). During the last 24 hours, 83 deaths and 105 injuries have been recorded.
