MADRID 11 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
At least 14 people have been killed in two attacks by the Israeli Armed Forces, one in southern Lebanon and another in the extreme north of the country, according to Lebanese media.
Seven of the deceased, including minors and women, were killed in an attack on a house in Saksakié, in southwestern Lebanon.
Rescue work continues at the site, so it is not ruled out that there may be more victims in the rubble. In addition, there are several people missing, reports the Lebanese newspaper ‘L’Orient-Le Jour’.
Separately, seven more people have been killed and dozens more injured in an Israeli attack on a house with Syrian refugees in Ain Yaacub, in the Akkar governorate, in the far north of the country.
The official Lebanese news agency, NNA, has reported 28 victims among Syrians and Lebanese in Ain Yaacub and states that 22 people lived in the house, all of them displaced people of Syrian origin. A car has also been attacked in this bombing.
Lebanese Civil Defense has confirmed for the moment “many victims” and that at least two people have been sent to Halba Hospital, reports ‘L’Orient-Le Jour’.
The latest balance from the Lebanese Ministry of Health includes 3,243 dead and 14,134 wounded since the beginning of the Israeli military offensive against Hezbollah.
