At least 13 people killed and 15 injured in Israeli strikes in Gaza Strip

September 7 (EUROPA PRESS) –

At least 13 people were killed and 15 injured on Saturday in Israeli army attacks on various parts of the Gaza Strip, including an educational centre housing displaced people in the Yabalia camp in the north of the enclave.

According to WAFA news agency, the Israeli Armed Forces have attacked the Halima Saadia school in the Yabalia camp in the north of the Gaza Strip, leaving eight dead and 15 wounded. The center houses displaced people fleeing the Israeli military operation.

Five people have also died at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Hospital in Deir al-Bala, where they were taken after the Israeli army shelled a house in the west of the Nuseirat refugee camp, both in the centre of the Gaza Strip.

There have also been deaths and injuries, including children, in the attack on a house in Khan Yunis, in the south of the Palestinian enclave, and on a home in Al Nasr, in Gaza City.

In this town, the Zaytun neighborhood has witnessed “huge explosions” due to the blowing up of buildings by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the aforementioned agency points out.

Authorities in the Gaza Strip, controlled by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), on Thursday raised the number of Palestinians killed by Israel’s military offensive against the enclave to nearly 40,900, which has also left nearly 94,454 wounded since it began following the attacks carried out on October 7 by the Islamist group and other Palestinian factions.
