At least twelve dead and 31 injured, three of them seriously, after a construction truck collided with a transport truck in the city of Antioquia, Turkey.

Apparently the construction truck lost control, colliding with the transport truck and went into the opposite lane turned into a “ball of fire” where it hit nine vehicles and two minibuses that were parked, according to the Turkish agency DHA. .

Following the notification, teams from the Police, firefighters, health and rescue personnel arrived at the scene and were in charge of transferring the injured to hospitals and extinguishing the fire.

The Turkish Minister of Health, Fahrettin Koca, has reported that 22 ambulances and three teams of the National Medical Rescue Team were sent to the scene of the accident and has sent a message to all those affected: “I wish God’s mercy for our citizens who lost their lives and condolences to their families. We will do everything we can to make sure the injured recover their health as soon as possible. I wish each of them the best soon.”
