ASUS ROG has expanded its family of gaming devices with ROG Phone 6Da ‘smartphone’ that works with the Dimensity 9000+ processor, a 6,000mAh battery and the Aeroactive Cooler 6 cooling chip.
ROG Phone 6D has a starting price of 969 euros and features a screen 6.78-inch AMOLED with a resolution of 2,448 x 1,080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20.4:9, with a refresh rate 165Hz720Hz touch sampling and a response time of 1ms.
Also works with MediaTek processor Dimension 9000+, uses the Android 12 operating system and backs its power a 6,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging system. And it offers different variants depending on the RAM memory, which can be 12GB or 16GB, and also in terms of internal memory, since it is 256GB or 512GB.
Asus has highlighted the system end of this game team, in which it has implemented GameCool 6 technology, with three types of cooling depending on the use that is being given to the ‘smartphone’. Thus, in the case of a short gaming session, thermal stress is reduced by the boron nitride thermal compound on the side of the CPU.
On the other hand, for medium-length gaming sessions, the vapor chamber, blades, and graphite sheets come into play to disperse heat on the other side of the CPU. And thinking about the long term, Asus has added AeroActive Cooler 6, an accessory that hooks on the back and that directs a flow of air directly inside to dissipate heat.
ROG Phone 6D has two ultrasonic buttons AirTrigger 6 that allow control through gestures, and a gyroscope with which you can control the angle of vision, to aim. It is complemented by a X-axis linear motor with vibration frequency up to 130Hz.
Regarding the camera, this equipment consists of a system of three lenses led by a sensor Sony IMX766 50MP, a 13MP ultra wide angle and a macro camera. The 12 MP front camera is designed for video streaming.
