3 Apr. (Portaltic/EP) –
Asus has anticipated the presentation of a portable game console which forms part of its Republic of Gamers (ROG) ‘gaming’ range of products, which will allow you to play anywhere with computer titles.
ROG Ally is the new ‘hardware’ proposal from Asus for video games, its first portable game console, designed to be able to carry the computer titles anywhere, similar to Valve’s Steam Deck.
The Taiwanese company ensures that it brings “true PC performance to your life on the go”, and to do so, it works with the operating system Windows 11 and supports subscription Xbox Game Pass. Inside it has an accelerated processing unit (APU) with the signature of AMD and is equipped with a “high performance” display that supports gaming on Full HD.
ROG Ally also uses brand refrigeration technologywith a dual-fan design to keep your computer cool during gaming and prevent heat from affecting performance.
It also has a ROG XG Mobile eGPUwhich allows you to continue playing while the console is charging and the game is broadcast to a larger screen.
Asus announced this console on April 1st, a date that in English-speaking countries is known as ‘April Fool’s Day’ -although it is celebrated in more parts of the world-, a kind of April Fool’s Day, in which it is common to play jokes. For this reason, this Monday he reaffirmed his intention to present the new game consoleensuring that it’s about something real.
It’s real!
