Google has introduced the first Chrombooks designed for cloud gaming from brands like Acer, Asus and Lenovo, with 120Hz+ high-resolution screens, WiFi 6 or 6E connectivity and immersive audio.
The catalog of computers with the ChromeOS operating system has been expanded with the new Acer Chromebook 516GE, Asus Chromebook Vibe CX55 Flip and Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming Chromebook.
All three teams are designed for cloud play through services like Nvidia GeForce Now -also the RTX 3080 subscription-, Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) Y amazon moon (United States), which give access to more than 1,500 games for PC and consoles, as reported in a statement.
Google has highlighted that these new Chromebooks have been tested by the independent Gamebench platform, which has certified that they consistently offer a smooth and responsive gaming experience. 120 frames per second and one Console-level input latency of less than 85 ms (Tested at 1080p when plugged in while playing Fortnite and Destiny 2 using Nvidia GeForce NOW RTX 3080 early access accounts.)
This line also has screens for 120Hz high resolution+, RGB keyboards with ‘antighosting’ functions -the effect of phantom keystrokes-, support for connectivity WiFi 6 or 6E and immersive audio.
