ASTRO BOT could have cameos from Stellar Blade, Rise of the Ronin and more popular series
As the community discovered, the credits of ASTRO BOT includes a section in which Team ASOBI thanks all the third-party developers and publishers who allowed their characters and intellectual properties to appear in the adventure game.
What’s interesting is that there are franchises on the list that are conspicuous by their absence in the base game. For example, the credits thank Ubisoft for the inclusion of Assassin’s Creed, Rayman and Beyond Good & Evil. Mention is also made of Stellar Blade of SHIFT UP, Rise of the Ronin of Koei Tecmo, Worms of Team17 and Croc: Legend of the Gobbos of Argonauts Games.
No characters from any of the previous sagas appear in the original experience of ASTRO BOT. So their mention in the credits suggests that they might arrive via downloadable content. Let’s remember that Team ASOBI confirmed that it is already preparing various free DLCs that will arrive after the launch.
According to the developers, the platformer will receive New speedrun and challenge levelsIf these sequences follow the same structure as in the base game, it is very likely that they will reward players with more Bot cameos. So, there is a possibility that we will find the characters from the previous list there.
That said, it’s also possible that Team ASOBI was given permission to include these franchises in the game, but ended up not doing so for whatever reason. And of course, it’s also possible that the characters are hidden and waiting to be discovered in the original adventure.
