Ubisoft and Netflix today announced an alliance involving video games, but they also reminded the players who are working on adapting one of the most important sagas in the industry to the small screen: Assassin’s Creed.

For a long time, the companies confirmed several projects based on the saga. Today, during Ubisoft Forward, it was reaffirmed that a live-action series is on the way. For now, no further details about the production were confirmed, which in 2020 was looking for a showrunner.

For now, all we know is that Jason Altman and Danielle Kreinik of Ubisoft Film & Television will serve as executive producers.

“For more than 10 years, millions of fans around the world have helped make the brand Assassin’s Creed in an iconic franchise. We are thrilled to be creating an Assassin’s Creed series with Netflix, and look forward to developing the next saga in the Assassin’s Creed universe. Assassin’s CreedAltman previously commented.
