Assad opponents protest after Turkish call for reconciliation

SYRIA-TURKEY

Turkey-linked opponents of Bashar al-Assad yesterday launched a series of protests after the Turkish government called the warring parties to reconcile. The demonstrations took place in Idlib province, controlled by pro-Ankara forces and Islamist formations, and in Aleppo province.
