ASRock has released two upgrade kits to WiFi-6E for your motherboards equipped with an M.2 card with two connectors and two antennas, so it is easy to upgrade your motherboards based on Intel or AMD chipsets.
In the case of M.2 cards, it is striking that the model for Intel motherboards is different from that of AMD, specifically, while the card in the kit for motherboards ASRock with AMD chipset count on PCI-Express interfacethe model for motherboards of the company based on Intel chipsets uses an interface CNVio2so there is no compatibility between them.
These differences can be seen with the naked eye by looking at the distribution of the connectors, with three blocks in the case of the AMD model and two in the case of Intel, even though the card format is M.2 2230 (22 x 30 mm).
Possibly, the chipsets of each module are different, betting on an Intel solution for Intel boards, and one from Mediatek for AMD, although ASRock has not revealed those details.
At the moment we do not know when they will go on sale and if they will arrive in Spain, likewise, their price remains a mystery for now.
