A few days ago the possibility was commented that, especially in the first boot, some AsRock motherboards with the new AM5 socket had boot times that could be up to several minutessomething that is generally unacceptable for any modern computer and is above what some servers need to fully boot.
However, as we see in TechPowerUp, It seems that AsRock has been working to reduce these boot timeswhich, although not specified, have probably been reduced from several minutes to the times we would expect from any modern computer.
It is unknown what kind of optimizations have been made, but some rumors mentioned that this could be due to a memory training issue, something that Intel platforms with DDR5 memory did not suffer from, so it is possible that it does have to do with RAM but that is rather because it is the first version of BIOS that was installed on these first units.
For now there is no more official data, so what we can be sure of is that AsRock AMD X670 and X670E chipset motherboards already have an updated BIOS to reduce boot times.
