ASIA TODAY Myanmar, 157 children died in 2022 at the hands of the military junta

MYANMAR

at least 157 kids They died in 2022 during the repression of the protests and in the military operations of the coup junta. The report prepared by the activists of the Association for Assistance to Political Prisoners (AAPP) also indicates that the total number of minor victims since the return to power of the generals amounts to 267.

ISRAEL – PALESTINE

Israeli security forces two Palestinians were killed this morning during an operation in the village of Kfar Dan, in Jenin, West Bank. The target of the operation was the home of Palestinians accused of taking part in a deadly attack on an army commander. The victims are Mohammed Samer Hoshieh, 22, and Fouad Mohammed Abed, 25.

PAKISTAN – INDIA

Islamabad and Delhi have interchanged their respective lists of nuclear facilities, part of the pact signed in 1988 that prevents attacks against atomic sites. The two countries have also communicated to the other party the list of prisoners in custody, as stipulated in the 2008 agreement. Pakistan has 705 Indians (51 civilians and 654 fishermen), India 434 Pakistanis (339 civilians and 95 fishermen).

One third of the Arab population of the Asian continent lives on below the poverty line.
