This is how, in the 10 years that he has been validity Apps.co It has accompanied more than 4,600 entrepreneurial teams and digital companies, in early and advanced stages. It has also benefited and trained more than 263,000 citizens with virtual courses.

Now, in the last four years, this initiative managed to impact more than 119,000 people and 1,895 businessmen from all over the country.

According to Minister Valderrama, the goal for this year is for the number of beneficiaries to increase significantly.

“Last year we impacted 21,609 Colombian entrepreneurs, who received tools to strengthen their digital business idea. Another great achievement of this program is that it has allowed us to be present in the 32 municipalities of the country. This year we want to increase the number of beneficiaries, which is why I invite those interested to participate in the courses, digital entrepreneurship workshops and mentoring”, said the ICT Minister, Carmen Ligia Valderrama.

For his part, Francisco Noguera, president of iNNpulsa Colombia, highlighted that Apps.co has become a “great reference” for those entrepreneurs who seek to continue growing.

“Apps.co is a great example of how important and positive we have built. This digital program that was born in 2012 has become a reference (…) We know that more than 50% of ventures fail because they do not validate their business ideas or do not have sustainable financial models. Apps.co is for them, to start the path of entrepreneurship with all the tools to achieve success”, added Noguera.
As for the goals they have for this year, the program is expected to benefit more than 22,000 people and about 300 digital business companies.

To date, they have been trained more than 6,000 citizens through 78 Seedbeds of Digital Entrepreneurship workshops in 51 citiesand there is already a program of free virtual mentoring, which can be accessed from the Apps-co website.
