Apple Music Classical is coming in late March with more than 5 million songs and composer biographies

The new classical music app Manzana Music Classical, will arrive later this month to offer the platform’s subscribers more than five million songs and biographies of their composers.

The technology company acquired the streaming classical music service Primephonic at the end of August 2021, when it announced that its features would be coming to its platform, but also that it hoped to launch a specialized classical music app in 2022.

In this way, subscribers to this service from the iPhone manufacturer could access features such as improved navigation, searches by composer and repertoire or detailed views of the metadataamong other.

Apple has now announced the launch of the new Apple Music Classical application, which will offer platform subscribers access to “more than five million songsfrom new releases to celebrated masterpieces, plus thousands of exclusive albums,” as listed on the App Store.

In this service, which presents an interface identical to that of Apple Music, you can also search by composer and work and has support for high audio quality (up to 192 kHz/24 bit Hi-Res Lossless). In addition, the app will also show descriptions of works and biographies of composers.

Apple Music Classical is now available for pre-order at the app store of the iOS and iPadOS operating systems and can be downloaded at the end of this month for free.

To use this application you need be subscribed to any of the Apple Music plans (Individual, Student, Family or Apple One), have an iPhone with iOS 15.4 or later versions and have an internet connection.
