The iPhone 15, in its different models, has been with us for eight months. If Apple follows tradition, in September This year we should know the future iPhone 16. Rumors, however, are already talking about the launch that would occur in 2025.
The Information points out that the Cupertino company is working on an ultra-thin iPhone that could hit the market with a higher price than the currently most expensive model, the iPhone Pro Max. The data comes from three sources “with direct knowledge of the project.”
A thinner (but more expensive) iPhone
The reputable business publication suggests that the appearance of this new model could mean a change of design as significant for the iPhone as the one presented by the iPhone X 2017. The key would be in thinness, a feature in line with the new iPad Pro.
One of the sources said that the new premium iPhone could arrive with an aluminum chassis. At the front level, we could see a smaller pill-shaped cutout than the one we find in the current models. The screen would be between 6.12 and 6.69 inches.
On a photographic level, the rear cameras could be located horizontally in the upper central part of the phone. If we talk about power, the terminal would boast a new chip probably called A19. The arrival of this equipment would mean changes in the catalog. Let’s see.
If the ultra-thin premium model reaches par with the iPhone 17, according to sources, Apple may not have five models. The company would reorganize its catalog with the possible elimination of the Plus model. A renewed economical iPhone SE appeared on the scene.
We will have to wait to find out what will really happen. Let’s remember that Apple is a very hermetic company in terms of advances. This means that, beyond the rumors, we do not know the official details of the terminal until the 2025 iPhone keynote.
