Apple beats inflation and sells more iPhone

Investors said the company would miss its projections because other PC and smartphone vendors have said sales are slowing.

The company stated that the Total revenues for its devices it amounts to 304,182 million dollars, which includes its service area, where Apple TV + and Apple Fitness + are contemplated.

Although its flagship product, iPhone, managed to sell 3% more than the period last year, Apple’s revenue from the sale of Mac was 7,380 million dollars, 10% less than last year. On the other hand, iPad managed to sell 7,220 million dollars, 2% less than in 2021.

iPhone 13 sales remain strong even in the second half of the product’s annual release cycle. Apple typically releases new iPhones in September, and sales fall as customers anticipate new models.

For its part, the services vertical grew more than 12% during the quarter, although that is a decrease from the 17% growth it registered in the second quarter and the 27% it registered during the same period last year.

Cook said Apple has 816 million paid subscriptions, which includes anyone who signs up for an app sold on Apple’s App Store as well as products like Apple Music and iCloud.
