Android 13 is officially launched and begins to reach the Pixel

Android 13 is already official in final version. While Android 12 still has a usage share of 13.5% within the Android smartphone ecosystem, Google has decided to launch the new version of its mobile operating system after several betas that have arrived in recent months.

Naturally, the first smartphones to receive this update will be the Google Pixel. Specifically, the company will send Android 13 via OTA to the Pixel 4 and successive models such as the Pixel 5 and the most recent Pixel 6. This also includes the cheaper Pixel 6a and the Pro variants. The deployment to these ranges will begin today.

Later it will reach terminals of other brands, during this same year. Its arrival will depend on the speed with which these manufacturers adapt their terminals to the new Google operating system. Generally, the latest flagships are the first to receive the updates.

Android 13 will have, in addition to the general functions for all devices, a large number of bug fixes designed for the Pixel family.
