Macau is an autonomous region on the southern coast of mainland China, across the Pearl River Delta from Hong Kong. The pataca is the currency of Macau and its note is nominated as one of the most beautiful.

The 1,000 Philippine peso bill, equivalent to approximately 367 Mexican pesos, is another candidate to become one of the most beautiful bills. Like the renewed 50 Philippine peso bill.

In 2021, the winning ticket was the Mexican 50-peso banknote that Banco de México launched in October of that same year.
On the reverse, the banknote represents the ecosystem of rivers and lakes with the axolotl and corn in Xochimilco, in Mexico City, and the historical period of ancient Mexico on the obverse. One of the spoiled of Mexicans.
