An Israeli woman injured on Friday in an attack in which her two daughters died has died this Monday due to the severity of her injuries, as confirmed by the Hadassah Medical Center, where she was admitted.
“We are saddened to announce the death of Lucy Dee, the victim of Friday’s deadly attack in the Jordan Valley,” said the medical center, which detailed that the 48-year-old woman was evacuated by helicopter and admitted in critical condition.
“Unfortunately, despite the supreme and incessant efforts and because of her fatal wound, she has been declared dead today,” he said, before expressing his “great regret” for the death of the woman, according to what the television network has collected. Israeli Arutz Sheva.
Lee was injured in an attack on her vehicle near the northern West Bank settlement of Hamra, after which the UK government confirmed that the two fatalities were also British nationals. The Israeli Army launched an operation after the attack, although so far the suspects have not been arrested.
