An incursion by the Malian Army and the Russian paramilitary company Wagner Group in the southeast of Mauritania as part of an anti-jihadist operation has left three civilians wounded by gunshots and four detainees, who have been released after undergoing interrogation. “This is not a mistake, they were chasing terrorists,” a Malian security source confirmed to RFI, who has also reported the death of numerous alleged terrorists.
