AMD Zen 5 architecture will arrive with Ryzen 8000 and RDNA 3.5 in 2024

Part of the AMD roadmap for this year 2023 and the next 2024 has been leaked, where we can see that the AMD Ryzen 7000 will have new models for socket AM5 equipped with Zen 4 cores together with Navi 3.0 graphics in the form of APUs with RDNA 3.0 GPUs, updating current models with RDNA 2.

On the other hand, if this capture is true, the company would have confirmed that AMD Zen 5 architecture will arrive with the new AMD Ryzen 8000 series for socket AM5. Together with them, the company has called the integrated graphics that will accompany them as “Navi 3.5”, so we would be talking about an architecture “RDNA 3.5” which is possibly an update of the current RDNA 3 without making the jump to the new future generation RDNA 4.0. These GPUs had already been leaked previously.

All of these processors will use the current AMD AM5 platform, so, barring any surprise, current motherboards with this socket should be compatible with the new Zen 5 processors.

The company has also detailed that the processors of this platform will start at 65W in conventional models and will reach 170W in workstation models.
