AMD has announced its event together we advance_PCs in which they will unveil the next generation of the company’s products for the desktop market. The event will take place on August 30 at 1 in the morning, Spanish time, and in it, Lisa SU, current CEO of the company, will reveal new details of the Zen 4 architecture along with other company executives.
Although there are not many details yet, the event will be oriented to AMD desktop processors based on Zen 4. Except for surprise, these processors will be the Ryzen 7000with models like the AMD Ryzen 9 7950x or the Ryzen 7 7700x. However, it seems that the launch of the Ryzen 7000 based on this Zen 4 architecture will take place, at least according to the latest leaks and rumors, on September 27 to coincide with the launch of the Intel Core “Raptor Lake”.
Also, in the event together we advance_PCs, AMD will also show new information about the AM5 platform that will accompany this new generation of processors based on Zen 4. AM5 motherboards will arrive with support for DDR5 memory and the new PCI Express 5.0 connectivity standard to form a new platform that will replace the current AM4 with a few years behind them.
