AMD will introduce the next generation of EPYC Genoa processors on November 10

On November 3, the presentation of the new AMD Radeon RX 7000 will take place, but it seems that AMD is not satisfied with only this, Well, on November 10, the presentation of the new generation server processors, the EPYC Genoa, will take place.

This will take place in an event called “Together we advance_data centers”, where we will be able to see these new processors, which according to the data that are known, will feature up to 96 physical cores and a new square socket with over 6,000 pins, something that should arrive with a robust mounting solution.

The invitation to the event can be seen in the tweet above these lines, where the silhouette of the processor is shown, in addition to the date of the event and little else, so AMD definitely has to show all the data on the day of the event in question, instead of providing any additional teaser about it.

At the performance level, we expect the AMD EPYC 9654, which will have 96 cores, Count on 2.6 times the performance of the Intel Xeon Platinum 8380one of Intel’s top-of-the-line models, with a 1.7x improvement in performance per watt.
