This caused the companies that had released the updates to have to hide them from their websites, because some processors with double CCD were working with only one of them, instead of both, something caused by the previous version of the SMU included with AGESA 1.0.0.4.
From now on, as we read in WCCFTechwe should not have any problem updating the BIOS on our motherboard with X670 or B650 chipset, because the new version 84.79.210 of the SMU in AGESA 1.0.0.4 has a solution for this bug, which had already been called “Downcore”, evidently, because it took away cores from the system.
In principle, the affected motherboards have been those of MSI, ASRock and ASUS, so if we have updated the BIOS of our motherboard in the last few days and it meets the requirements that we have listed in this news – and especially we see how we are missing cores –It would be advisable to update to the latest version available.
