AMD prepares a Radeon RX 7650 GRE for CES 2025

While NVIDIA seems to be preparing all its artillery for CES 2025 in the form of the new GeForce RTX 5090, RTX 5080 and RTX 5070 with Blackwell architecture; It seems that AMD still does not have any next-generation GPUs to compete with.

According to the last rumorsAlthough the arrival of RDNA is expected during the first quarter of 2025, for CES 2025 the only thing AMD will have for the gaming GPU market will be the AMD Radeon RX 7650 GRE, a new version based on the current RDNA 3 architecture.

The specifications have not been revealed, although it is expected that it is an intermediate model between the AMD Radeon RX 7600 and the Radeon RX 7600 XT, that is, based on the AMD Navi 33 XT RDNA 3 GPU.

In any case, it will be a mid-range GPU with a price that should not exceed $300 nor be a product that will influence a market that is about to be renewed with the new architectures of AMD and NVIDIA itself.

However, it seems that AMD itself has already given up competing with NVIDIA in the high-end, and we will only see new mid-range models.
