Airtificial plummets almost 10% after increasing its capital by 20 million

Airtificial plummeted almost 10% on the stock market this Thursday around 9:40 a.m., after launching yesterday, with the market already closed, a capital increase worth 20 million euros.

The objective of this capital increase is to reinforce growth in four strategic areas of the company, such as the intelligent robotics and aerospace defense business units, in addition to its international expansion and in the R&D area for the diversification of the business to new sectors.

Thus, the company’s shares fell 9.83% in the Continuous Market, until they were exchanged at a unit price of 0.0972 euros per share.

According to the information sent to the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), the board of directors of Airtificial has agreed to this expansion of the shareholding base in a total of 222,263,022 shares at 0.09 euros of nominal value, to be fully disbursed at the time of subscription.

The price closed yesterday at 0.11 euros per share, so the subscription value of this capital increase represents a discount of 22.2%.

The main shareholders have supported the company’s strategy and are giving a new sign of their confidence by ensuring in this capital increase the subscription of at least a percentage of new shares equivalent to their current participation.

All shareholders of the company have a preferential subscription right of one new share for every six current shares, a right that, if they consider it appropriate, can be sold on the market, and that can be exercised by those who have acquired shares to date. in which the announcement of the subscription offer is made public.

This capital injection reinforces the company’s strategy of boosting its activity both in the diversification of the product portfolio and in its international expansion.

In the latest results presented, those at the end of the first half of the year, the company had a turnover of 46.7 million euros, a gross operating result (Ebitda) of 4.3 million and a historical order book of 216 million of euros.
