The Spanish developer Aeternum Game Studios has held a showcase during which he has made two announcements. The first has been the presentation of a new intellectual property called Eden Genesis, which is described as a cyberpunk adventure. In second place we have the announcement of Virtuoso, an additional content for the metroidvania Aeterna Noctis that consists of a mode boss rush. During the event, the studio has also shown a small how-to of Summum Aeterna, which will leave early access in September.

The presentation of Eden Genesis, the new intellectual property of Aeternum Game Studios, has been carried out through a teaser where you can see a female character in a cyberpunk setting. Despite the fact that at the beginning of the footage what appears to be the protagonist is riding a motorcycle, Fernando Sánchez, co-founder of Aeternum Game Studios, has ruled out that it is Aeternum Kart. For now, the only thing we can say about Eden Genesis is that it is a cyberpunk adventure that will be available in 2024 for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam).

The next addition of a mode boss rush aeterna Noctis was born from the prayers of the community, as recognized by Sánchez himself during the showcase. “[…] you have repeatedly asked for more suffering, more pain and, above all, more battles against those bosses who are so great, ”says the executive. “Now, I also tell you that this is going to be a boss rush that it will make more than one and more than two suffer, so then we do not want responsibilities because it was you who asked for it ”.

Virtuoso add-on content for Aeterna Noctis has been released alongside a teaser where we can see the Collector, one of the characters in the game, show his collection of bosses. As the Collector himself says, players will face more powerful versions of the bosses that have previously been defeated in the Aeterna Noctis campaign. The Virtuoso plugin does not have a date yet, but we know it will arrive in 2023.

Lastly, a shout out to Aeterna Lucis, an additional content for Aeterna Noctis. The plugin has not been displayed during the showcasebut it is still in development and scheduled for 2024. Those interested in taking a look at this metroidvania will find a demo on Steam.
