Actress was inspired by Daenerys and Hermione to find the voice of Zelda

Although several companies will not go to gamescom 2022, Ubisoft confirms attendance

The latest deliveries of Legend of Zelda drew attention because it marked the debut of voiced characters, including Zelda, who exhibits a polished English accent fit for royalty, which the voice actress came up with by drawing inspiration from characters from Harry Potter and game of Thrones.

Although the English pronunciation of Zelda in Breath of the Wild and its derivative games is the accepted or admitted, also known as the pronunciation of the BBC, Queen’s English or Oxford English, the person responsible for her voice, Patricia Summersett, is Canadian, but she reports that instead of the American accent she used the one from the United Kingdom to give life to Zelda, something that Nintendo surely asked for.
