ACS completes the purchase of the data center company Dornan, with a portfolio of 1.6 billion euros

MADRID Jan. 8 () –

ACS, through its subsidiary Turner, has closed the acquisition of Dornan, an engineering group based in Ireland specialized in data centers, which has a project portfolio of 1.6 billion euros.

The acquired firm has more than 1,000 direct employees and in 2024 delivered projects with a value of more than 700 million euros, as reported by the Spanish multinational construction company chaired by Florentino Pérez.

Dornan is one of Europe’s leading specialists in the data centre, biopharma and healthcare sectors, with approximately 85% of its current portfolio confined to the technology market.

The group offers systems engineering, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and commissioning services to blue-chip clients with operations in 8 European countries, notably the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark and Ireland.

This is one of the first steps in Turner’s strategic plan to open up in the European market. ACS’s portfolio in data centers already reaches 7,200 million euros and plans to allocate an investment of up to 2,000 million euros to this segment.

Dornan will continue to operate under its brand, although it will add the phrase ‘A Turner Company’ to its name. The current management team will remain in place, guaranteeing the continuity of employees, clients and partners.
