Starting with the Predator X34 V, at the time the most sophisticated of all, we find ourselves before a new curved OLED monitor. With a 34-inch size and UWQHD (3440 x 1440) resolution, it becomes the intermediate step between the Predator X45 and Predator X27U announced at CES 2023. Its 1800R curvature panel has interesting performance, with very low response time characteristic of OLED (0.1 ms GTG), 175 Hz refresh rate and VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 400, as well as the ability to cover 99% of the DCI-P3 footprint.
Given its technical data, it seems that it is the same QD-OLED panel used by the Samsung Odyssey OLED G8, but Acer’s model is more affordable. While its Korean rival is around 1,400, the Acer Predator X34 V will cost 1,299 euros when it arrives in the fourth quarter of this year, competing with the Alienware AW3423DW.
The Nitro XZ452CU V, for its part, occupies another space. By price, features and dimensions. This VA LCD monitor arrives offers 44.5 inches with 1500R curvature in 32:9 format and with 5120 x 1440 pixels of resolution. Its refresh rate is 165 Hz, its brightness is compatible with the DisplayHDR 400 standard and it can cover 90% of the DCI-P3 space. The response time has not been communicated, but it should be very low.
Like the Predator X34 V, the Nitro XZ452CU V comes with a KVM switch to easily use multiple devices on the same screen (something to be appreciated considering that its dimensions can replace classic dual-screen setups), and it also features a USB-C connector capable of sending up to 90 W. The set is finished off by a DP 1.4 connector and two HDMI 2.1.
As for the price, it will go on sale in the fourth quarter for 1,099 euros.
