ACER launches the line of electric scooters ES Series 3 and Series 5 with up to 60 km of autonomy

Electric scooters have been enjoying good popularity for a few years now among those looking for a practical, ecological and fast way to move around the city. Several companies are trying to gain a foothold in that competitive sector, and now ACER has announced its first models that will arrive on the Spanish market in May, accompanied by an LED display with a speedometer, front and rear headlights, reflectors, a brake indicator and even turn signals.

We talk about the ACER ES eScooter Series 3 and the ES eScooter Series 5. The latter are oriented for long journeys thanks to a 36-volt motor with 550W of power that can reach up to 25W (the legal maximum in Spain), but with which they can be raised slopes of up to 16% inclination with people weighing 100 KG. Its 15 Ah Li-ION battery promises up to 60 km autonomy with a charge.

It can be set to three top speed modes ranging from 6km/h to 25km/h, along with an intermediate 10km/h mode. All this in a folding aluminum design with a weight of 18.5 kg and measurements of 118 x 49 x 125 cm where a platform of 64 cm long by 16.5 cm wide enters.

Its 25.4-inch pneumatic wheel system is puncture-resistant and has integrated shock absorption at the rear. This model adds a rear disc brake that accompanies the front electric brake.The ACER ES eScooter Series 5 will hit the market for a price starting at 599 euros.

On the other hand, the ACER ES eScooter 3 Series reduces its benefits to start at a price of 449 euros. Its motor maintains the 36v power delivery but reduces its power to a range of 250 to 400 W, maintaining the possibility of climbing slopes with a certain slope (15% in this case) with a 100 kg load.

It maintains the 3 speed modes of 6, 10 and 25 km/h and a 7.5 Ah battery, half that of the Series 5. Therefore its autonomy remains in half, with a maximum of 30 km after a full charge of 4 hours. Its measurements are 107 x 49 x 120 cm with a 60 x 16.5 cm platform and 21.6 cm wheels.

Later, the company will bring a lighter and simpler model called ACER ES eScooter Series 1.
